In a major stride towards enhancing its global sustainable development efforts, Planisware, a premier provider of project portfolio management software, is thrilled to unveil its selected charity for the year 2024.
Each year, Planisware UK selects a ‘chosen charity’ with the aim to make a difference in the local community. This year, Planisware has chosen the oldest homelessness charity in Manchester, Lifeshare.
Lifeshare is a voluntary organisation established to help meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford. The first point of contact is with people on the streets, offering practical assistance, support, and information. Lifeshare offer continued assistance that enables people to secure suitable accommodation, support them in maintaining their tenancies, and help them to access initiatives that carry their lives forward. The charity continues their mission to identify street homelessness in the city, distribute resources, and promote a healthier life for vulnerable people.
Planisware employees will actively participate in supporting Lifeshare by attending volunteer days and donating essential items such as sleeping bags and hand warmers. Also, raising awareness of the digital inclusion project which focuses on donating refurbished goods such as mobile phones so that service users can attend appointments, communicate for a job interview, and have to access advice and information online.
