Fiaz Ashraf, Founder and CEO of the Manchester-headquartered AFA Group, parent company of several high-growth businesses, has been recognised for his landmark entrepreneurial achievements at the prestigious Muslim News Awards for Excellence 2024.
At the gala dinner, Fiaz was honoured with The Muslim News Ummul Mu’minin Khadijah Award for Excellence in Enterprise, celebrating his many successes in business. Under Fiaz’s leadership, the AFA Group has grown exponentially to a circa £15 million company with over 185 team members. The business has continued to go from strength to strength since its establishment, expanding organically with no external investment and supporting over 13,000 individuals and businesses to date with its suite of financial management services.
The anticipated calendar event recognises and celebrates unsung heroes who have achieved excellence in a variety of fields and those who have advocated for community causes. The occasion attracted a high calibre of guests of honour including the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
