Manchester Marketing Agency Expands Leadership Team with Senior Promotions

A digital marketing and PR agency with an office in Manchester has expanded its senior leadership team following a series of internal promotions across the business.

Tank has appointed James Reisner-Watkins as performance director, while Becca Peel has been promoted to head of digital PR and will join the agency’s senior leadership team.

James, who has worked with the company for more than eight years, will oversee performance and operational alignment across Tank’s departments. His role will include working with managing director Martin Stone to improve collaboration, efficiency and long-term planning as the agency grows.

Becca joined Tank five years ago and has helped develop its digital PR department from a two-person operation into a wider multidisciplinary team. She will now lead the department while contributing to the agency’s overall business strategy.

The appointments come as marketing agencies adapt to major changes in online search, including the increasing influence of artificial intelligence on how businesses and organisations are discovered online.

Becca said: β€œI’m proud to lead a team that consistently delivers high-quality, relevant coverage for our clients, while always pushing to evolve what we do, from strengthening our core offering to driving real impact in areas like online visibility and AI search.”

Tank has also announced five further promotions across its PR, digital PR and search teams.

Lauren Gray has become digital PR account director, while Katie Peacock has been promoted to account manager. Lauren Culpin has been appointed senior account manager within the brand PR team.

Connor Dowling has become senior SEO manager and Charlotte Yardley has been promoted to senior SEO specialist.

Martin Stone, managing director at Tank, said the promotions reflected the experience being developed within the agency and would support its next stage of growth.

He said: β€œBecca and James will play a critical role in shaping the next phase of Tank’s growth, but it’s fantastic to see so many of our people progressing.”

Tank operates from offices in Manchester and Nottingham, providing digital marketing, public relations, digital PR and search services.
