The prestigious world ranking event is set to take place at Manchester Central in the heart of the city for the third consecutive year, and runs from March 30th to April 5th.
Only the top 12 players from this season’s rankings earn a place in the draw, so it’s an elite field of the players in form. Four-time World Champion Higgins beat Mark Selby in the final last year and he starts his title defence against another multiple Crucible king, Mark Williams.
Other star names include world number one Trump, World Champion Zhao, Selby, Shaun Murphy, Neil Robertson and Mark Allen.
