Manchesterโs favourite day of the year is back for 2024 with the date of this yearโs annual Manchester Day celebration of the city and all things Mancunian now confirmed as Saturday 27 July.
Building on the success of last yearโs promenade-style event that saw activities take place in a number of city centre locations, this yearโs event is set to take over the whole of the city centre with even more fun-filled, free activities for all the family to experience and enjoy.
The council will be working with creative partners over the coming months on finalising the programme for a jam-packed fun-filled day that will see the cityโs streets and squares come to life with all kinds of unexpected things to see and do.
โManchester Day has been a highlight in the cityโs events calendar for well over a decade now and the feel-good buzz it creates across the city on the day is absolutely fantastic โ and best of all, itโs free!
