WeRoad’s Thrilling Manchester Debut: A City-Wide Campaign of Once-in-a-Lifetime Adventures

Have you ever literally taken the plunge? Leading solo group adventure brand, WeRoad lands in Manchester with their eye-catching “Once in a lifetime Adventures” out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign. From May 6th to May 19th, WeRoad’s vibrant creatives will dominate 239 prime locations across the city, including train and tram stations, pedestrian zones, roadside billboards, and more.

The striking OOH creative taps into the curiosity of adventurous travellers by showcasing authentic user-generated content captured during WeRoad’s small-group adventures around the globe. Breathtaking selfie-style photography immerses viewers in bucket-list destinations like Egypt’s iconic Giza Pyramids, the lush jungles of Sri Lanka, the soaring peaks of Chilean Patagonia, and the vast, windswept dunes of Morocco’s Sahara Desert.

Playful campaign copy like “Ever hiked through the land of fire?” and “Ever travelled through time?” sparks audiences’ sense of adventure before posing the irresistible call-to-action: “Have you ever done a WeRoad?” The messaging invites Manchester locals to satisfy their wanderlust by experiencing WeRoad’s adventurous trips delivering unforgettable memories.

“After our successful OOH campaign across London last year, we’re thrilled to land in Manchester with a high-impact city-wide takeover to introduce WeRoad to Manchester,” said Justyna Chlopecka, UK Marketing Manager at WeRoad. “The user-generated imagery from real-life Weroaders give audiences a taste of the unique adventures that await with WeRoad’s once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences.”

The “First-Time Adventures” outdoor advertising campaign is the main part of WeRoad’s big push to make its mark in Manchester as the only travel brand you will ever need to know about. Beyond the outdoor ads, WeRoad is hosting its signature “WeMeets” community events at local pubs and bars, partnering with Sofar Sounds on surprise intimate music performances, and collaborating with The Wellness Hub to provide weekly outdoor yoga sessions. WeRoad has even taken over Kampus one of the city’s coolest neighbourhood hangouts for a seasonal brand activation complete with live music, and there’s more to come throughout the summer!
